When IPL began its journey as an independent laboratory in July 1999, we had 17 employees on the payroll. Fast forward 21 years, IPL has now tripled its staff and opened a second laboratory location in Taranaki. The loyalty of our employees has been undeniable with 14 staff members having completed 15 years or more.  Retaining, sharing and initiating our next phase of knowledge transfer has played a huge part in growing IPL to what it is now. To all the staff that have been involved with IPL over the past 21 years, we would like to say a massive thank you. Your unique scientific knowledge and dedication has and continues to launch us forward.

Over the years, IPL has developed a very close working relationship with many of our customers and also worked alongside both our customers and the government to bring new testing capabilities to New Zealand. Our unique expertise in regards to petrochemical testing is extremely valued in New Zeland and has grown to shine outside our international borders. Once again, the loyalty of our customers has been crucial in growing IPL. In order to offer the best technical expertise, we have had to challenge status quo, be flexible and constantly think outside the box. This has allowed IPL to continue developing its technical testing abilities.  

It is fair to say that IPL operates in an industry that changes rapidly technology wise. To keep delivering on our unique set of expertise and support our customers, we are constantly reviewing our strategy to allow us to compete in our changeable industry landscape.

21 years is a big milestone and one that deserves to be acknowledged. We would like to take this opportunity to thank once again our staff, our customers and board of directors, for your valuable support over the last 21 years.
