Composition
We offer compositional analysis which enables us to identify and quantify every individual compound from (C1 to C14). We can give boiling point distribution data for compounds above C14. Compositional analysis can provide fundamental information about the chemical structure and concentration of components in a sample which will support your decision making.
Sulphur and Nitrogen
We use high tech equipment and recognised test methods to perform trace sulphur and nitrogen analysis including H2S, mercaptan and carbonyl sulphide using various techniques (combustion, colourimetric and titrimetric analysis).
Wax
We offer a range of solutions to determine the chemical and physical properties of waxes. We tailor our wax analysis to meet our clients’ requirements. The techniques used include simulated distillation, low temperature dichloromethane solubility and ?? through to colour, viscosity and much more depending on the sample type requiring analysis.
Metals

Samples are taken by clients or IPL staff from well sites or process plants and transported to IPL lab for analysis.
