Energy and Industrial Group

The Energy and Industrial Group (EIG) is a multi-disciplined group of New Zealand companies who provide a range of technical specialist and support services to the energy and industrial sectors, facilitated by the regional development agency, Venture Taranaki.

IPL joined the group in 2014 in the hope of developing long term relationships & partnerships with the EIG members. Over the years, IPL has taken part to many of the group initiatives and brought a fresh set of expertise and skills from which the group has been able to benefit. Our proven expertise in petroleum testing has grown tremendously since IPL's inception in 1999 and so has our analysis portfolio. IPL expanded its testing offer to include environmental testing, biofuels analysis, contamination & purity testing and other services such as laboratory management, training and auditing as well as calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment. 

In a changing environment, EIG has had to adapt.  IPL keeps supporting the group and its members by growing its testing offer, researching how they can contribute to the emergence of technologies specific to the Energy industry and by developing testing solutions for them. Being part of EIG has been an unique opportunity for IPL as we can benefit from each of the members core competencies, keep our finger on the pulse and grown our overall knowledge of the Energy industry, its upcoming challenges and identify how we can best help.
